This airport is located to the east of Khabarovsk town in Russia. It once used to handle flights from the Russian airline Dalavia but the plane was shut down because of debts. Lenin square - this is the most central place of the town and there is a beautiful fountain located in the same area. Actually the entire place is filled with smaller fountains erected around sitting areas. Lenin Square is a great place to sit and have a chat with a friend, read a book or have a quick sandwich before moving on to your next attraction.
Monuments - you will find several monuments lined along the Amur River. So if you take a walk there try and discover as many as you can. You can engage the locals to get to know about the history behind them.
