How to proceed from the airport
It is a known fact that landing in a city is easy, but travelling within a new one isn’t. So for most people it comes as a shock when they deal with high taxi fares, badly congested tour buses, local trains that lead to limited areas, etc. For that matter, the most advisable mode to travel within a city would be a rented car. At the age and time of tourism, and in a city like Bern, the competition between car rental companies is thriving; it gives you the key to cheap rental cars and various deals that include plenty of optional cars for you to choose from; from trucks, to SUV’s to bikes and even luxury cars. All at a distance of one phone call away from you.
