Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport usually just referred to as Detroit Metro Airport, locally or simply DTW, is a key international airport in the United States. It covers approximately 7 thousand acres of land in Romulus, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit).
It serves up to 32 million passengers a year, with 11 airlines successfully carrying 600 flights per day making it Michigan’s busiest airport and one of the largest air transportation hubs in the country. It has two terminals, both containing domestic and international gates. It’s reported the third busiest gateway to Europe and is a crucial gateway to massive tourism in metropolitan Detroit.
