Valencia Train Station is situated in central Valencia and can be seen near the bullring. The train station services Spanish Day trains giving passengers and its excited tourists access to other known cities like Barcelona and Madrid. From the station, you can also have your car hire pick you up so that you can drive to your hotel in Valencia City, or maybe go straight to Barcelona or Madrid.

If you are on your way to the airport, coming from Valencia train station, it will cost your 15 euros by taxi, it may sound expensive, but it is actually not bad. Should you want to call a friend at the train station, the station provides telephone stands located at the main concourse. Baggage consignment is also another service that is available and the hours are between 6 A.M. until 10:30 P.M.; and if you get hungry, several restaurants and coffee shops can be found throughout the train station.

Parking is provided right on site for the train station and if you are driving a rental car, you can also look for the closest car hire return signs. If you cannot seem to find one, just go straight to the station's car rental office and ask for directions for car hire drop off, which the car rental officer will be happy to assist you with.

If it is your first time to be at the Valencia Train Station and you are alone, there is no need to worry. The train station's layout is very straight forward and signs are readable everywhere. The first that you will encounter is the ticketing window, of course, to buy your tickets; then after that you go past the window and go straight to the waiting area. At the waiting area, there is a big sign which is immediately noticeable, for as long as you are not texting all the time while walking, which announces the arrival and departure of trains. The moment your train's departing platform is broadcasted, head to the platform right away.

If ever you have questions about your trip, boarding the train or even booking a car rental, you can just head towards then information office which is located at the ticketing booths' right end. Apparently, the train station is design to be passenger friendly. Every passenger, be it old and new to the city, would definitely have a pleasant train ride experience.
