This airport is officially known as the ‘Aéroport de Poitiers - Biard’, in French, and ‘Poitiers - Biard Airport’, in English. It is a public airport and serves the city of Poitiers, hence the name Poitiers Airport. More precisely the airport is located at Biard which is 2.5 km west of Poitiers.

This is in France’s region of the Poitou – Charentes (the Vienna department). In the vicinity of the airport, two airlines, Air France and Ryanair, operate. Although the airport is not huge, it still has a very cordial staff working and a swift mechanism running about.
